Dogs for Autism, the UK’s first and only charity providing assistance dogs at no cost to autistic individuals of all ages anywhere in the UK.

Our highly trained dogs offer companionship, confidence, and life-changing support to autistic children and adults. Many people are astonished by their profound impact, and we are excited to have  the opportunity to share more about our work with Onslow Village WI. 

As Susie, Rebecca’s grandmother, shared:

“In just a few months, the difference having a dog has made to my granddaughter has been amazing; we’re able to do things together as a family that we could never do before.”

 We are a local charity based in Alton and if you’re interested, we’d be delighted to visit one of your meetings to give a talk. We can share how we train these remarkable dogs, their impact on the families we support, and how communities like yours can help us continue this vital work.

We are a group of women who love meeting together to enjoy presentations from a wide range of speakers on many different topics; art/craft activities; dance evenings; flower arranging; games/social evenings etc! We organise regular coffee mornings, tea afternoons & pub evenings as part of our social calendar. We also go on lots of trips out. 

New members are always welcome!  You can attend your first meeting free, after which you would need to join.  Membership is currently about £50 for the year.
