SUMMARY:Surrey Search and Rescue Stretcher Carry Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Surrey Search and Rescue is a voluntary specialist search team that assists the emergency services to find missing vulnerable adults and children. We are on-call 24 hours a day\, with a team of 80 plus people and search dogs\, to respond across Surrey and surrounding areas.  \n\n\n  \n\n\nWe are doing a stretcher carry from the bottom of Guildford High Street to the top\, and then back down again – and do that loop 11 times\, which is twice the elevation gain of the highest point in Surrey\, Leith Hill.  \n\n\n  \n\n\nIt is an activity which is meant to be a physical challenge\, convey part of what we do as a search and rescue team\, and also be a spectacle to engage members of the public and build awareness of the voluntary service we offer.  \nClick here to see the poster.
